Purple Roses Memory Cards for Memorials and Funerals

Memorial services are busy, stressful, and a blur for the family of the deceased. Often, during a funeral service attendees will be invited to share memories of the loved one, and these will be humorous, touching, and interesting. But how to remember so many stories and insights? I am proud to offer Cherished Print’s Purple Roses Memory Cards, to be filled out by those who share (or don’t have time during the service to share) wonderful memories of their loved one.

This poem was the inspiration for the Purple Roses design collection.

If roses grow in heaven

If roses grow in heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.

Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there’s an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
